Ny State Championship- OVRP 11/3/24

November has its own signature to those in the karting community from the northeast region . Chilly mornings , brisk winds periodically and one last sound of roaring engines. All though unseasonably warm this did prove to be challenging for all drivers in every class, tires keeping grip was one of the biggest.

Through each lap i saw the confidence and skill emerging by their sessions from hours of seat time from the season . OVRP has a well rounded and established classes which is acknowledged in the karting community.

Though a race everyone has waited for , disappointments did arise . Mechanical issues, a few pile ups ( cool track temps ) . What i did admire is comradeship between each driver after those incidents and the podium ceremony.

I’m grateful i made this race a memorable one being behind the lens , and capturing those finish line moments and paddock candids shots.
